Missing Vicksburg Man Found Deceased

A missing Vicksburg man, 48-year-old Howard Hendren Hennessey, was found deceased off Rice Road in Ridgeland, Mississippi on August 7, 2024.

Hennessey’s body was discovered by a surveyor. According to Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers, Hennessey had been at the location for “some time,” possibly for at least four weeks, and was decomposed.

The Ridgeland Police Department responded to the scene along with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation Crime Scene Unit, Reservoir Police, and Park Rangers. The missing Vicksburg man was reported missing on July 13, 2024. He was last seen in a 2019 white Honda Ridgeline.
