Mississippi Man Arrested After Allegedly Strangling a Woman
STARKVILLE, MS. – On Monday night, September 9, 2024, the Starkville Police Department arrested Donnell Jordan (49, Starkville) for domestic violence – aggravated assault. Authorities have accused Jordan of strangling the female victim at an apartment on 500 Louisville Street. Medical personnel treated the victim at the scene and released her.
Police reported to the Cedar Cove Apartments at 500 Louisville Street at about 12:30 p.m. Monday after receiving a 911 call reporting a domestic occurrence.
According to reports, officers interviewed Jordan and the victim, who were in a romantic relationship. After an investigation, officers arrested Jordan.
Jordan was transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail.
