Mississippi Pastor charged with multiple sex crimes

CRYSTAL SPRINGS, Miss. (VDN) — A Mississippi pastor has been arrested and charged with multiple sex crimes, authorities said.

Christopher Willett, pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with statutory rape, sexual battery, child pornography, and computer luring of a minor, according to officials.

Willett is being held without bond at the Copiah County Jail. Investigators said he could face additional charges as the investigation continues.

Authorities have not released details regarding the victims or how the alleged crimes were discovered. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
