Mississippi Woman Charged with Sex Crimes against a Child
Kemper County, Miss-In October of 2020, the Kemper County Sheriff’s Department initiated an investigation on Adreoinna Hickman for the charge of Sexual Battery [Child under 14 years of age], and Child Pornography. During the investigation the physical evidence pertaining to the allegations could not be found, and therefor the case was placed on an inactive status until such a time the physical evidence could be obtained.
On Friday November 22nd, 2024, the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) made contact
with the Kemper County Sheriff’s Department in reference to the video evidence the sheriff’s
department searched for in the past. The FBI stated they have located the video pertaining to Hickman and the victim. When the sheriff’s department obtained the evidence, Hickman was interviewed and subsequently admitted to not only performing the sexual acts on a child, but also to videoing the act and then sending it to another individual through a social media site.
Hickman stated she took the video and sent it to another person because she was supposed to receive money for it, but stated during the interview the person did not pay her.
Hickman was served with two warrants for her arrest and was processed into the Kemper/
Neshoba Regional Jail Facility.
On Monday November 25th, 2024, at approximately 9:00am, Adreoinna Latoria Hickman was transported to the Kemper County Courthouse for her initial appearance. At the conclusion of the initial appearance Hickman was issued a bond in the amount of $250,000.00 dollars per charge for a total bond of $500,000.00 dollars. Hickman was also issued a mandatory court date of Monday March 17th, 2025, at the Kemper County Courthouse.
