Missy Gators pulled off a close win against Ridgeland

Vicksburg High secured a thrilling victory over Ridgeland in the district tournament on Friday, with a close score of 34-33. Rodrianna Hall’s clutch 3-pointer in the final moments sealed
the win for the Missy Gators, earning them a spot in the 6A State Tournament.

Cynia Johnson had an impressive double-double performance, contributing 12 rebounds along with 11 points. Kierra James also made her presence felt with eight points and 10 rebounds, while Hall added six points to the scoreboard. Nykeria Watson chipped in with four points to contribute to the team’s victory.

Next up, the Missy Gators will hit the road and travel to Olive Branch for their game on Friday.
