PCA smashed Tallulah Academy 60-34
Porter’s Chapel Academy boys’ basketball team walked away with a 60-34 win over Tallulah Academy.
A slow start from PCA would keep the game tight in the first half. Although Noah Porter made some nice shots in the first quarter, PCA trailed 13-10 at the end of the first quarter. The Eagles would regain the lead in the second quarter after Gavin White hit a 3-pointer. As Ty Mack heated up he helped push PCA’s lead to 25-21 at halftime.
Defensively, the Eagles stepped up in the third quarter by only allowing six points while Jase Jung, White, Porter, Chase Hearn, and Mack all produced points.
PCA continued to dominate in the final quarter and took home the win as Mack led with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Porter added 15 points and five rebounds while White scored 10 points. Jung added eight points with 12 rebounds and Hearn grabbed five rebounds to go with his four points.
