PCA’s Marley Bufkin selected to play in the MAIS All-Star Game
VICKSBURG, MS – Porter’s Chapel Academy (PCA) softball player Marley Bufkin has been selected to play in the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) All-Star Game. Bufkin recently wrapped up her senior year under PCA’s Head Coach Billy White.
Over the last three years, PCA’s Marley Bufkin has maintained the highest batting average among all softball athletes in Warren County. In 2022 as a sophomore, Bufkin had a 4.50 batting average, 18 hits, 12 RBIs and .909 fielding percentage. She also compiled 462 batting average, 30 hits, one home run and 18 RBIs in 2023. Marley ended her senior year with a .452 batting average, 28 hits, 19 RBIs, 33 runs and only struck out twice in 72 batting appearances.
The MAIS All-Star Game will be held at Jackson Prep on October 16, 2024.
