A teenager drowned at the Clinton Family YMCA over the weekend.

Clinton PD and EMS responded to the YMCA on Sunday where life-saving measures were unsuccessful. The deceased was identified by the Hinds County coroner as 15-year-old Jonah Pippins.

Reports indicate that the teen was pulled from the pool by lifeguards who attempted to save him. The incident is still under investigation.
