Two (More) Suspects in the Rash of Shootings and a Murder Face Initial Hearing

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Two more suspects connected to the string of shootings earlier this month appeared before a judge for their initial hearing this afternoon.

Calvert “Calbo” Cosby, 22, Jermaine “Bones” Johnson, 45, stood before Judge Southerland. The judge read them their rights and formally charged them.

Authorities charged Calvert “Calbo” Cosby with First Degree Murder and two counts of Drive-by Shooting. Jermaine “Bones” Johnson faces charges of First Degree Murder and two counts of Drive-by Shooting. Both will be held without bond.

Law enforcement arrested Willie Johnson in Tyler, Texas, based on warrants issued by local authorities.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office arrested two additional suspects, Jermaine Johnson and Calvert Cosby, on June 14.
