Vehicle crashes into building in Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — A two-vehicle collision caused one vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a building.

At about 9:30 p.m., a black SUV and a grey sedan made contact at the intersection of Monroe and Madison Streets in Vicksburg. The black SUV sustained front-end damage, and the grey sedan went over the sidewalk, down a slight knoll, and crashed into the building, passing through the wall.

No one was injured in the accident.

Several units with the Vicksburg Police Department responded to the call along with the fire department and Fire Medic 40.
