Vertez Shorter received AAC Second Team All Conference honors

Vicksburg native and Reinhardt University football player Vertez Shorter received AAC Second Team All Conference honors.

Shorter, who plays defensive tackle, had 44 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2023. He also helped the Eagles to a 8-3 season.

Shorter graduated from Warren Central High School in 2019.
