VHS defeated Crystal Springs 9-4 in a summer baseball game
Vicksburg High School baseball team took down Crystal Springs 9-4 in a summer game on Tuesday.
Ashton Harris earned the first run for VHS as they went up 1-0 in the first inning. Crystal Springs responded with three runs of their own in the second. The Gators tied the game at 3-3 after Shirray Harris and Kolten Thomas both scored runs.
VHS picked up six more late runs from Nick Carson, Jordan Clay, Allan Allen, and Xavier Williams before the game ended.
Ashton Harris and Thomas both had a hit while Allen struck out four batters in the win.
