Vicksburg Man Arrested in Today’s Stabbing

At 4:11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of Clark Street for a reported stabbing. The female victim, Christina Ware, 50, of Vicksburg was found deceased inside the house.

Roosevelt Harris, 49, of Vicksburg was taken into custody at the scene. He is being held without bond until his initial appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Monday, July 15, 2024.
