Vicksburg’s Ariel Wilson-Hardy opens “Pink Sugar Bakery” in downtown Vicksburg

Vicksburg native Ariel Wilson-Hardy has opened her own bakery in her hometown. “Pink Sugar Bakery” is now open for business in downtown Vicksburg where the grand opening was held on Saturday.

Hardy mentioned that her new bakery sells a variety of foods, including cupcakes, cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, brownies, gluten-free items, and many more baked goods. 

With many years of baking experience, Hardy felt now was a good time to open her own bakery and have the full experience of being a business owner.

“I’ve been baking from home for the past five years so now it’s time to get a bigger space,” Hardy said.

Pink Sugar Bakery has a welcoming-warm feeling inside with pink decor and they are ready to serve their customers. They also cater events and take custom cake orders. 

Pink Sugar Bakery is located at 1412 Washington Street and will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.They can be contacted at 601-738-3759.
