Vicksburg’s Jordan Davis recently hosted two cheerleading camps

Vicksburg native Jordan Davis hosted her second annual cheer camp last week. Davis, the owner of Jordan’s House of Cheer, also hosted a tumbling camp last week where many young cheerleaders learned from her many years of experience.

“I am so grateful to be able to provide a camp where young girls can express themselves through cheer,” Davis said. “I will continue to create a safe place where they can build their confidence, mental strength, teamwork, and discipline. I love cheer and I love what I do. I want to thank every cheerleader and their parents for trusting me to guide them with purpose and passion. They did an amazing job. I want to express my gratitude to the Gertrude A. Gymnasium and its staff for granting me the opportunity to host my camp at their facility. Last but not least, I want to thank my family for being the greatest support system.”

Both camps were held at the Gertrude Young Gym where the ladies worked on their strength, courage, and endurance. The camp was a complete success as the kids enhanced their cheering ability as Davis gave them hands-on experience on the proper way to cheer.

Davis is a 2019 graduate of Vicksburg High School and went on to cheer at Alcorn State University.
