VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Warren Central High School has moved its preseason football scrimmage up one day to Thursday, Aug. 21.

The game, originally scheduled for Friday, Aug. 22, will now kick off at 7 p.m. at Robert Morgan Field at Viking Stadium. The Vikings will face the Brandon Bulldogs in the exhibition matchup.

Warren Central enters the season under longtime head coach Josh Morgan, who is in his 16th year leading the program. Brandon is under the new leadership of Lance Pogue, a veteran coach known for his successful tenure at South Panola High School.

The scrimmage will not count toward either team’s regular-season record.

Warren Central will open the regular season Aug. 29 on the road against Clinton. Brandon will host Tupelo High School the same night.
