Warren Central High School football team remains undefeated in district play after beating Neshoba Central 27-3 on Friday.

The Vikings struck first when freshman  quarterback Nash Morgan hit Zack Evans for a 45 yard touchdown. Jonah Artman kicked the successful extra point.

Ronnie Blossom came in and made two big defensive plays in the first quarter, including a fumble recovery.

The Vikings wouldn’t score again until the middle of the second quarter when Morgan found Maddox Lynch and Jaylon Winters on quick passes that set up a short touchdown run by Eric Collins Jr.

The Rockets made their way into WC’s territory just shortly before halftime then Blossom came up with a huge sack. Neshoba settled for a field goal as the Vikings went up 14-3 at halftime.

Coming out of halftime, WC quickly moved the ball down the field with a nice run by Collins while Evans caught a 19-yard touchdown after shaking three defenders.

The Viking defense continued to make big play as Julien Demby blasted a ball carrier along with Dakesi Crump who grabbed multiple tackles.

Collins got the last score of the night on a seven yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to put the Vikings up 27-3.

WC improved to 6-2 on the year and 3-0 in district play. They will travel to face Callaway on Friday.
