WCJHS defeated Old Town 61-26

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Warren Central Junior High School boys’ basketball team advances to the second round of the Little Six Tournament after knocking off Old Town Middle School. The Vikings won 61-26 where they stayed ahead the entire game as they pulled off the win.

WCJHS went up 15-6 in the first quarter over Old Town when Doss Morgan contributed from the free throw line while Jordan Taylor made a couple of layups. In the second quarter, Ja’Ven Lee crossed one defender and made him fall while Cameron Zellous was also able to get on the board as the Vikings went up 32-12.

Taylor, Jordan Younger, and Braylen Selvy all took over the second half as WCJHS easily finished out on top to keep their season alive.

Taylor and Younger both scored 12 points each while Lee ended the night with nine points. Zellous and Selvy both scored seven points while Henry Trisby put up five on the board. Morgan capped things off with three points while Jarrad Williams, Semiko Moody, and Delvin Thompson Jr. all scored two points.
