Man accused of killing Port Gibson woman in custody

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Mario Cortez Bailey, 21, of Eagle Lake, Mississippi, was taken into custody this morning at the Vicksburg Police Department.

He was sought on a warrant for First Degree Murder related to the death of 21-year-old Aaliyah Sanders which occurred on Friday, November 17, 2023.

Bailey will be held without bond until his initial appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court.
