Summer Hours and Updates at Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument

Starting Sunday, May 19, Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument will operate under summer hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Due to ongoing construction, the hours have been shortened this season.

The Visitor Center will also be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the self-guided tour road to Last Stand Hill, Battle Ridge, and the Reno-Benteen Battlefield available from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Custer National Cemetery will follow the same hours as the park grounds, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Ranger programs will be offered daily; visitors can check at the Visitor Center for times and locations. Additionally, the 25-minute orientation film “Triumph and Tragedy Along the Little Bighorn” will be shown at the Visitor Center.
