Alcorn’s Bailey and Griffin named First Team All-SWAC

Alcorn State University football players Malachi Bailey and Tavarious Griifin has been name First Team All-SWAC.

Griffin, a tight end, had 26 receptions last year along with 351 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Bailey, a defensive lineman, racked up 23 tackles, five sacks and one forced fumble.

Both Bailey and Griffin will be playing under Head Coach Cedric Thomas.
