Two injured in Warren County crash after vehicle struck a light pole

WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (VDN) — Two people were injured Friday night when a vehicle struck a light pole on Goodrum Road, authorities said.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Goodrum Road, according to Warren County Fire Service District 3. Emergency medical services responded alongside fire crews.

When first responders arrived, they found two patients outside of the vehicle with what were described as minor injuries. Both individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation, officials said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional details were immediately released about this situation which caused a power outage in the area.
