Porter’s Chapel falls 50-28 to Claiborne Academy

Porter’s Chapel Academy lost 50-28 to Claiborne Academy, marking their first defeat of the season. The Eagles, now 1-1, will host Kemper Academy next week in hopes of rebounding from this setback.

Porter’s Chapel Academy suffered its first loss of the season Friday, falling 50-28 on the road against Claiborne Academy.

The Eagles dropped to 1-1 after opening the season with a 46-16 victory over Clinton Christian Academy.

PCA remained within striking distance for much of the game and trailed 36-28 in the second half before Claiborne pulled away.

Thomas Antwine accounted for two rushing touchdowns for the Eagles, while Lakelan Pecanty and Myles Randle each found the end zone once.

  • Thomas Antwine: 2-yard touchdown run
  • Antwine: 1-yard touchdown run
