Port Gibson girls’ basketball team improved to 12-6 for the year. In an intense match against South Pike on Monday, the Blue Waves emerged victorious with a final score of 49-45.
Amiyah Hedrick proved to be a key player for Port Gibson, leading them to victory with an impressive 13 points. Camara Evans also made a significant contribution with 11 points, while
Rekiyah Washington and Ger’Kiya Flowers both scored 10 points each. Kennaja Goods rounded off the team’s success with five points.
Looking ahead, Port Gibson will be hitting the road to face off against Jefferson County on Tuesday, seeking to maintain their winning momentum.
