Caden Cole commits to Southeastern Louisiana
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Caden Cole, a standout athlete at Warren Central High School, has committed to play baseball at Southeastern Louisiana University. Cole announced his verbal commitment Saturday on social media, solidifying his future at the collegiate level.
Cole has been a key piece of the Vikings’ program over the past few years. The junior is currently leading Warren Central at the plate with 20 hits, 12 RBIs and a .370 batting average. By his junior season, Cole had already received nearly 10 scholarship offers to play baseball at the next level.
As a sophomore, Cole earned All-District honors after recording 32 strikeouts while also tallying 21 hits and 12 RBIs.
Cole plays under head coach Randy Broome and helped lead the Vikings to a district title last season, along with a North State championship appearance.
VDN will follow up with Cole on his official signing day.
