The Choctaw Central High School boys’ basketball team is generating a lot of buzz in Mississippi as they recently secured their 11th consecutive victory.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Delvin Thompson, the Warriors triumphed over West Lauderdale(19-3) on Tuesday with a convincing score of 85-58. Zyler Clemons led the team with 17 points, supported by Alan John who
contributed 16 points. Additionally, Koie Williams and Joyce Sam both scored 13 points, while Kaden Edwards made a notable contribution of eight points and eight rebounds.

Remarkably, CCHS has emerged victorious in 17 of their last 18 games and currently boasts an impressive record of 21-5. Furthermore, they have remained undefeated in district play,
with a 7-0 record. With their exceptional performance, they are well on their way to securing a district championship. In fact, according to SB Live, they currently hold the esteemed position of being the top-ranked team in both 4A and the state of Mississippi.

The Warriors will conclude this year’s regular season with an away game against Leake
Central on Thursday.
