Davenport and Henderson came in first place in their events on Tuesday

Local athletes Gavin Davenport and Tyler Henderson came in first place in their track & field events on Tuesday.

Davenport, who competes for Warren Central High School, came in first place in discus(122’7). Henderson, who is a Vicksburg High athlete, finished in first place in the triple jump (43’6) and second place in the long jump(20’9).

WC and VHS will compete at Northwest Rankin on Monday.
