Deirdre Fields takes the stress out of bookkeeping for small businesses

Magnolia Business Services is now accepting new clients in need of bookkeeping and accounting services.

Operating in Vicksburg since January 2021, Magnolia Business Services specializes in bookkeeping & accounting for small businesses and nonprofits. Business owner Deirdre Fields has a wealth of experience as a small business owner and has worked with nonprofits, small businesses, and tax accounting firms for over 15 years.  Fields has developed a strong team of local bookkeepers and is “grateful for the wonderful clients and referrals from our community already. Fields charges a set monthly fee based on the volume of work required. Her clients “receive the benefit of working with an independent contractor so they don’t have another employee to put on their payroll and pay payroll taxes and benefits.” Technology also allows Magnolia Business Services to effectively serve both local and remote clients.

Fields takes a ‘full picture’ approach to accounting: “It’s one thing to do taxes, it’s a different thing to work hand-in-hand with a business owner and discuss their profit and loss together, analyzing where they can cut costs and seize growth opportunities for their business. We also prioritize accuracy with all applicable tax and labor entities and specialize in payroll and sales tax efficiency.
