Edwards man killed in tragic murder in Port Gibson; 20-year-old charged

PORT GIBSON, Miss. (VDN) — The Port Gibson Police Department is investigating a tragic murder that occurred early this morning at The Windsor Arms Apartments, located at 417 McComb Avenue in Port Gibson, Mississippi.

At approximately 3:38 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered the victim, 22-year-old Larry Mosley Jr. of Edwards, MS, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, Mr. Mosley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspect, 20-year-old D’Onee Edwards of Port Gibson, MS, who has been charged with murder in connection with this incident.

Edwards is currently in custody and awaiting arraignment. Due to the weekend, Edwards might not have an official court appearance until next week.

Chief Russell Dorsey expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Larry Mosley Jr.
