Gators’ season ends after a loss to Grenada

Vicksburg High School’s football season came to an end on Friday after a 37-8 loss to Grenada.

The Gators finished with a 7-4 record under first year Head Coach Christopher Lacey where they pulled off big wins over teams like Callaway, Terry and Natchez.

VHS will return a host of starters next year but will graduate some standout athletes such as Tyler Henderson, Tyler Carter, Demarcus Johnson, Ronnie Alexander and KJ Hill.

VHS will now go into the offseason and prepare for the 2024 season.
