Jackson police still seeking clues in Waffle House shooting

On Friday around 11 p.m., Jackson Police responded to Waffle House on Highway 18 in reference to a shooting.
When police arrived, they discovered a stolen Kia Rio with multiple bullet holes. Shortly afterwards, police received a call from Merit Health indicating that three black males were at the location suffering from gunshot wounds.
Investigators determined that the three males were victims from the Waffle House incident.
Kevin Clay, 22, one of the victims, has died from his injuries. Another victim, Latimmis Washington, 20, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and is in police custody.
