Joe Johnson Jr. celebrated his birthday by helping VUU win the CIAA Championship

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Vicksburg native Joe Johnson Jr. celebrated his birthday in style on Saturday by helping Virginia Union University to a CIAA Championship.

Johnson started at fullback in the 21-10 win against Fayetteville State. The victory was VUU’s first CIAA Championship in 22 years.

Johnson in a graduate of Vicksburg High School.
