Jordan Polk commits to Itawamba CC
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Jordan Polk, a Warren Central High School soccer player, has verbally committed to Itawamba Community College. She announced her decision in an Instagram post.
“I am blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Itawamba Community College,” the post read. “First and foremost, I want to thank God for the opportunities and talents he has given me, and for guiding me on this journey. I also want to thank all of my coaches, both past and present, for pushing me, believing in me, and helping me grow not only as a player but also as a person.
“To my family, your love, sacrifice, and constant support have been the foundation that has allowed me to be the player I am. Lastly, I want to thank Coach Strother and Coach Ugo for choosing me to be a part of the Indian family.”
Polk is a senior at WC and plays under Head Coach Jeremy Lawrence. She recently delivered one of her top performances of the season, scoring four goals against Murrah High School.
Polk was VDN’s 2025 Soccer Player of the Year. VDN will follow up with Polk on her official signing day.
