“Lies My Sister Told Me”: special screening at SCHC next Friday
VICKSBURG, MS. – The Southern Cultural Heritage Center will host a special screening of the film “Lies My Sister Told Me” next Friday, September 20, in the SCHC Courtyard. This is an ongoing series hosted by the center, Mississippi Made Movies, which feature movies that were filmed in Mississippi.
The center encourages locals who were extras in the film to “Come see yourself on the big screen in the very same courtyard where the movie was filmed!”
There will be a cocktail hour from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The movie will begin at 7:30 pm, or sundown. A cash bar and a 50/50 Raffle will also be available.
Tickets for the “Lies My Sister Told Me” screening are $10 per person and are available here in advance and at the door.
“Lies My Sister Told Me” is a made-for-tv movie about a woman who escapes from a mental hospital, intent on getting back the life she thinks was stolen from her by her twin sister. Instead, she walks into her worst nightmare. The film originally aired on Lifetime in 2022 with scenes filmed in the SCHC Courtyard.
