Local NAACP Chapter offers “Roll to the Polls” Initiative

Local NAACP Chapter Ride share for voting

VICKSBURG, Miss. – The local NAACP chapter’s “Roll to the Polls” initiative which will be offering rides to and from the polls tomorrow from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

If you or anyone you know needs a ride to their respective voting precinct, call (601) 831-3005, (601) 218-1107, (601) 218-2571.

“We’re a service oriented organization and we want to help as many people as needed to get a ride to the polls. We don’t want anyone to not have access to voting on Tuesday, November 5,” said Bobbie Bingham Morrow, President of the local NAACP chapter (NAACP Vicksburg Chapter), “We want everyone who wants to, to be able to vote and if they don’t have a ride, we have a group thats ready to provide a ride to the polls.”
