Locust Street suspect arraigned

A suspect in the shooting death of Shandrick Montgomery was arrainged today in front of Judge Penny Lawson.

On Tuesday, May 28 at 11:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Locust Street for a reported shooting. Shandrick Montgomery was found lying in the street, deceased, with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Arrested was Bernard Brown, 58.

Brown has been charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. His bond was set at $1,025,000.
