Lynch and Simmons named Mr. and Miss WCHS

Maddox Lynch and Hayleigh Simmons have been voted as Mr. and Miss Warren Central High School. Both were voted in by their classmates to represent the graduating class of 2025.

Lynch:

Maddox is a senior at Warren Central and is a member of the Viking football and baseball team. Back in May, Lynch helped the baseball team reach the State Championship Game for the first time in over 20 years.

For the past three years, Lynch has starred on the football team as he has nearly 10 scholarships offered to play on the next level. He is currently at the beginning of his senior football season where the Vikings have won two games in a row as they sit with a 2-1 record. Lynch caught a touchdown in last week’s win over Germantown.

Maddox is the son of Wayne and Karie Lynch.

Simmons:

Hayleigh is also a senior at Warren Central where she plays volleyball and soccer. Last season, she played a heavy role in the soccer team making it to the semifinals for the first time in school’s history. She grabbed 39 saves in the 2023-2024 season at the goalkeeper position.

Currently, Simmons is midway through her senior volleyball season where the Lady Bikes have an undefeated district record of 6-0.

Simmons is the Student Council President, the National Honor Society Vice President, and the Secretary of the Key Club. She is the daughter of Jason Simmons and Trista and Dustin Chamblee.
