Mourning A Loss: Prayer Service for Korey Sims This Evening

VICKSBURG, Miss. – A prayer service, led by the St. Al class of 2024, will be held this evening, August 6, for Korey Sims Jr. who died on Sunday evening. Sims graduated from St. Al in May of this year. The class of 2024 will be taking up donations to help the family with funeral costs.

Sims was well loved by both his teachers and classmates. Korey was a Senior Buddy, volunteered at a local food pantry, was a St. Al Varsity Basketball Team Captain, and received awards for both Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player.

The service will be held at 7 p.m. at the St. Aloysius gym, 1900 Grove Street.
