PCA took down Franklin Academy on Friday night

Porter’s Chapel Academy basketball team ended Friday night with wins over Franklin Academy.

Lady Eagles:

The Lady Eagles remain undefeated after crushing FA 63-29.

Jae’la Smith nearly outscored the opposing team by finishing with 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Lauren Madison also grabbed 10 rebounds to go with her 14 points while Sophie Masterson scored 10 points and nine rebounds. Marley Bufkin added six points and Audrey Carraway scored four while Emily Muirhead ended with three points.

Boys:

The Eagles improved to 9-2 on the year after winning 58-54 yesterday.

Gavin White was instrumental in the win as he knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 22 points. Taylor LaBarre scored 15 points and snatched seven steals while Ty Mack earned 10 points with his 10 rebounds. Noah Porter had eight points with seven rebounds while Jase Jung finished with three points.

PCA will travel to face River Oaks Academy on Monday.
