Rain Won’t Stop Halloween Trick-or-Treating in Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, Miss. – In spite of rain scheduled for this afternoon and evening, Halloween trick-or-treating will go on as planned throughout the city of Vicksburg and Warren County.

According to the National Weather Service, a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm. High near 83. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tonight, expect showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Low around 65. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of rain is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
