Three arrested in Hayes Street shooting

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg Police Department has made arrests in connection to a shooting on Hayes Street.

According to reports, Saturday, March 21, officers responded to a reported shooting in the area of Hayes Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that three individuals had already been transported by personal vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the incident. 

Following an investigation, the following individuals have been arrested in connection with this incident:

• Catriama Pugh, 32 – Charged with Accessory After the Fact
• Quanneisheia Pugh, 34 – Charged with Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon
• Omarion Nelson, 20 – Charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling

This incident remains under investigation.
