Travis Vance Jr., longtime Vicksburg lawyer has died

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Longtime Vicksburg lawyer Travis Vance Jr. has died. Vance died on Sunday at the age of 84.

Vance has been practicing law since 1964. He was a 1958 graduate of Carr Central High School. His law practice was located at 914 Grove Street where he practiced alongside Attorney Mike Bonner. Travis was married to his high school sweetheart Beverley Coles until her death in 1983.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hawkins United Methodist Church. The funeral service will also be on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Hawkins United Methodist Church.
