Tristan Jamison and Blake Caruthers commit to East Central Community College baseball

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Tristan Jamison and Blake Caruthers have both committed to play baseball at East Central Community College. The two Warren Central High School juniors announced their decisions last week on social media.

Jamison is batting .318 this season, recording 14 hits, 10 RBIs and one home run. He recently had a strong weekend at the plate, totaling four hits and four RBIs as Warren Central defeated Neshoba Central and Pearl.

Caruthers has also found success at the plate this season, tallying 10 hits, eight RBIs and one home run. Over the weekend, he finished with three hits, including two triples, and three RBIs.

Both Jamison and Caruthers played key roles in Warren Central’s district championship run last season and its return to the North State championship game. They compete under head coach Randy Broome.

In the fall, Jamison and Caruthers were also part of Warren Central’s football team that captured a state championship with a win over Hattiesburg.
