VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Vicksburg Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday, April 22, near Grange Hall Road and U.S. Highway 61 South.

Initial reports given to the Vicksburg Daily News described the Tuesday incident as a drive-by shooting, however, according to investigators, no vehicle descriptions were given, making it unclear at this time to confirm.

Officers discovered damage to a home and recovered bullet casings at the scene. No injuries were reported.

No arrests have been made as of this writing, but the incident remains under investigation.
