Two VHS powerlifters advance to North State

Two Vicksburg High School girl powerlifters will advance to North State after placing at Regional on Thursday.

Aunisty Davis, Rekayla Williams, Ciara Carter, Aa’Niyah Maniel, Cedrionna Blackmore, Ang’Janeè Bennett

Aunisty Davis and Cedrionna Blackmore both competed well yesterday. Davis competed in the 165 pound class where she lifted a total of 510 pounds. Blackmore lifted a total of 640 pounds after competing in the  220 pound class. Rekayla Williams, Aa’Niyah Maniel, and Ciara Carter also competed and finished strong.

Davis and Blackmore will compete at North State in March at Center Hill High School.
