Vantrel Reed has been named the Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week

Vicksburg native Vantrel Reed has been named the Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Reed, who plays baseball for LSU-Shreveport, recently went 6 for 12 with two home runs and 11 RBIs in last week’s games.He now has 21 hits, 22 RBIs and four home runs on the season.

LSUS will be back in action on Saturday.
