VHS tennis team picked up a district win over Ridgeland

Vicksburg High School tennis team picked up a 5-2 district win over Ridgeland on Thursday.

Kennedy Mullins earned a victory in the girls singles(6-0,6-0) while Khaleb Bailey and Trenton Davis(7-6,7,3,0-6) both won the boys doubles 2. Madisyn Barley and Janiegha Thomas(6-3,10-8) took home a win in the girls doubles 1 while Mekhya Smith and Alysha Murrell(6-1,6-1) were victorious in the girls doubles 2.

Amnesty Tyler and Kam Bailey also contributed to the Gators’ win as they secured a victory in the mixed doubles(6-2,6-0).
