10-Year-Old Fatally Shot In Coahoma County Christmas Eve
A 10-year-old boy was killed Christmas Eve when two juveniles were shot at in Friar’s Point, officials said.
The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office said around 9 p.m. Dec. 24, dispatch received a call of a juvenile being taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle.
Ladarius Nesbitt, 10, of Lambert, died of his injuries at the hospital after being transported.
Police say Nesbitt and a 14-year-old were “riding around the downtown area when someone opened fire on their vehicle.”
There is a $2500 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person involved in the shooting. If anyone has any information about this crime, please call Coahoma County Investigator Major Gwen Muskin at 662-592-1395.
