2024 Hinds Baseball Season Preview

Story from Hinds CC Athletics:
RAYMOND, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Baseball team will kick off their 2024 season on Friday, February 2^nd against John A. Logan in the Season and Home Opener. The first pitch is slated for 1:00 PM at Joe G. Moss Field.

The Eagles will have 17 home dates and will play 52 games on their regular season schedule. Coach Rives will return for his third season as Head Coach of the Hinds Community College Baseball program.

Hinds will rely heavily on Cameron Hill(Grambling State University Commit), Lincoln Sheffield (Kansas State University Commit), Ryan Herbison(Delta State University Commit), and Benji Webb (Blue Mountain University Commit).

Season passes are currently on sale for $90, while single-game tickets can be purchased online for a discounted rate of $8, or you can purchase them at the gate for $10. All Hinds CC ticket gates are cashless and accept Debit/Credit Cards only.

All home games will be streamed on the Hinds Athletics website at https://hindsccsports.net.

The Eagles will host their first tripleheader of the season on February 28^th, playing against Copiah Lincoln CC and Southwest Mississippi CC beginning at noon. Hinds’ first conference doubleheader of the season will take place on Saturday, March 9^th against East Mississippi CC beginning at 2 PM.

Sophomore Day is tentatively set for April 20^th against Itawamba CC in the final home doubleheader of the 2024 Regular Season.
