VICKSBURG, MS – At around 12:15 a.m., the Vicksburg Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 902 Hillcrest St. When the Fire department arrived on the scene the building was fully engulfed in flames.

Both Engine 6 and Engine 7 were on scene to extinguish the blaze.

“Upon arrival, the building was fully engulfed in flames. The crew efficiently extinguished the fire using a defensive attack. The structure was reported to be vacant, and no injuries were reported,” said Vicksburg Fire Chief Derrick Stamps.
